Graduate programs

The Digital Public Health (DPH) Graduate Program was developped by teams from the Bordeaux Population Health Center (BPH) and the Bordeaux School of Public Health (Isped), funded by the Investment for the Future Program (PIA3) under the “University Research School“.

The Africa Graduate Program is also co-organised and focuses on the study of contemporary Africa, exploring the complex and multidimensional issues facing African populations and decision-makers.

BBPH Blooming members of Bordeaux Population Health

The BBPH association, founded in April 2023 by young researchers from the BPH centre, aims to strengthen the integration and cohesion of young researchers within the laboratory and encouraging scientific exchanges. The BBPH association plays a key role in supporting and assisting PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and non-permanent engineers at BPH.

Among its initiatives are the organization of weekly seminars as well as events to promote scientific exchanges and conviviality. Every week, the “Young Researchers’ Wednesdays” (MJC) seminars allow young researchers to present their work and discuss topics of common interest in a supportive environment. Throughout the year, thematic seminars and workshops are also organized to address various scientific themes.

BBPH also hosts social events open to all BPH members and has recently established a partnership with the BT Bar in Bordeaux for monthly gatherings, promoting inter-team exchanges in a friendly atmosphere.
