Young researchers’day of the Société Française de Biométrie (SFB)

The next Journée des Jeunes Chercheur-e-s of the Société Française de Biométrie (SFB) will be held on 22 January 2025 at the Institut de Santé Publique, d’Épidémiologie et de Développement (ISPED), the Bordeaux Population Health (BPH) centre and the Public Health Department of the University of Bordeaux.

 

 

 

 

This event is organised by the Société Française de Biométrie, under the chairmanship of Cécile Proust-Lima (co-leader of the BPH-BIOSTAT team).

 

The organising committee also includes :

Boris Hejblum (co-leader of the BPH-SISTM team)

Hélène Jacqmin-Gadda (head of the BPH-BIOSTAT team)

and Corentin Segalas (post-doc in the BPH-BIOSTAT team) as website.

 

This biennial event is an important opportunity for the French biometrics and biostatistics community to meet and share ideas. It is also open to all by registration and is free of charge.

 

The programme includes presentations of work by young researchers in statistics applied to the life sciences, a presentation of the SFB’s prestigious ‘Daniel Schwartz’ thesis prize, and a guest lecture by :

 

Catherine Legrand, Professor of Biostatistics at the University of Louvain La Neuve (Belgium).
